A merging of two media properties, one of which brought many times the amount of traffic the other was used to handling. By engineering a caching architecture, the client was able to handle the new traffic easily on their existing hardware

Starting from scratch, building a media rich flash front end tying in to a high performance backend API. Able to handle many millions of uniques a day by having an auto scaling architecture which both grows and shrinks as needed to maintain a maximal cost / performance balance.

A business intelligence data provider had information for millions of businesses, however their information was incomplete. By leveraging cloud computing and web crawling / linguistic processing techniques, we were able to complete and extend their business listing information. And because it was on the cloud, it came in well under budget.

When we came on board the company had a successful, growing social network, but there was a problem. They needed to add quite a bit of new functionality and support a far larger load than they had at the time, but the code in place then was no where near up to the task. We came in, looked at their needs and designed an architecture and code refactor plan to get the site to where it needs to be. And in the period after that we worked very closely with their existing tech staff, and also helped them find new tech staff, while seeing the plan to its very successful completion
